Looking for an awesome dish to serve to a vegetarian at your seder? Maybe you want a break from the meat-and-potato fare most of us associate with Pesach?

Here’s a round-up of twenty-five vegetarian Passover recipes from some of my favorite food bloggers around the web. While some of these recipes contain dairy, many are dairy-free, so feel free to add these to your seder menu plan and serve them to vegans.

  1. Thanks for including my matzah mac & cheese, eggplant parmesan stacks, and cheese blintzes! Great post.

    • Mara Strom says

I can’t wait to try your mac & cheese, Tali! It looks delicious! Chag Sameach. xo

      • Anna Mueller says

I made this and it was a hit! I didn’t have sour cream so I subbed goat milk yogurt. However, I only had half of the yogurt I needed, so I made up the other half with more mozzarella and 1 Tbsp. lemon juice. Delicious! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Mara-
This is amazing! Thanks for taking the time to put this all together! Now I’m in trouble, I have to revamp my pesach menu! 🙂

  3. This looks great! Thank you for posting…can’t wait to make several of these recipes for Seder!!!

  4. Carol Katzman says

You’re being read far and wide! My future machatunum forwarded the link to this from Chicago (which had been forwarded to her!!).
One twist on quinoa — also very easy: quinoa with sauteed red, green and yellow peppers and onions. And if you make a side of ratatouille, it looks pretty with it and becomes a filling meal for vegetarians during Pesach!

  5. What a fabulous list! Thanks for including my recipes!

  6. Great recipes! Wish I had my act together enough to submit one of my own. Oh, well, maybe next year ….

  7. Wonderful recipes! For once I am excited about Pesach!

  8. So glad I signed up for your Pesach newsletter; I missed this post! Teriffic round-up. This will really help with planning.

  9. diane rabin says

gonna try several of these. Just a heads up for those who might make the mistake, the Cauliflower crust pizza includes corn meal–not to be used on Pesach. I guess matza meal instead. ( do people actually have a pesach pizza stone?)

  10. Those all look great! Going to try the zucchini sticks!
I want to try to make Moroccan quinoa “meatballs”. It’s a combo of Moroccan meatballs, but with quinoa instead of meat and rice.
I’m doing a trial run on purim, I’ll let you know how it goes.

    • Mara Strom says

      How’s the “meatless” meatballs go?!

      • Oh so good! The “meatballs” were quinoa and lentils, with eggs, cilantro and morrocan spices(cumin, cinnamon, all spice and coriander). Sauce was onion, garlic, tomato paste, raisins and same spices. Also, cilantro, parsley and thyme.
Definitely a sphardic pesach dish, but could be made Ashkenazi with some substitutions!

        • Please share the recipe–ingredients, instructions, etc. Would love to make this for the vegetarians at our seder.

  11. Nicole Ilanit van der Reis-Rosenberg says

Thank G’d for Facebook! Your recipes are also beimg read and shared in The Netherlands, Europe! Have a kosher Pesach everybody!

  12. Stash Empress says

Looking for #15 . Passover Potato & Mushroom Pie by Ocado — but its not at that link! Any idea where to find it?
