6″ Kindle E-Readers from $47.40 (40% Off) – Or Possibly As Low As FREE!

I just wanted to remind you that this amazing deal is still available thru August 15th. (I’m debating getting it for my son’s Chanukah present – you can NOT beat the price!)

For just a few more days, you can get the Kindle 6″ WiFi eReader with Special Offers for just $47.40 with free shipping. It’s regularly $79, but with the promo code KINDLE40, you save an additional 40%, making it just $47.40.

Note that this code is only valid for using an Amazon Rewards Visa Card.

You can also grab the 6″ version without Special Offers for $65.40 with the same code, also with free shipping.

The code works on Kindle accessories, as well, but unfortunately is not good for the Kindle Fire.

If you’ve been in the market for a Kindle eReader, you might want to consider opening a Rewards Visa. When you open one now, you will get a $50 instant credit – making the Special Offers Kindle FREE and the regular 6″ version just $15.40!!!

This is the best price I have EVER seen on a Kindle e-reader, so I’d definitely pull the trigger if you’ve been waiting for a deal.

  1. When I go to the link for opening the credit card it is only offering a $30 gift certificate, not a $50, is there a different link or has the amount changed?

    • Liba – I don’t know this for sure, but I *think* that this must have some kind of cookie in it that is based on past Amazon purchases. Because some readers have told me that they are getting the $50 offer and others are only seeing a $30 one. I’m sorry – I don’t know why this is, but that’s my best guess. :(

Hi Mara, Do you know if its possible to password protect these? If I would give it to a child I wouldn’t want them to have unsupervised downloading. Know what I mean?

    • That’s a good question. I know that you can password protect the whole device – so that all usage would be (in theory). You can also password purchases, so you don’t end up with unwanted app/movie/book purchases. HTH.

  3. bought it. thanks for the tip!
