Then here’s a great way to get yourself a FREE latte: When you re-load your Stabucks card with $10 or more using your Twitter-linked American Express card, you’ll get a $5 credit. That’s like paying $5 for $10 worth of Starbucks yumminess.
I know this deal may sound a bit complicated, but it’s actually quite simple when you follow these steps.
#1. Link your American Express card with Twitter. Twitter won’t have access to your card information, don’t worry! Just go HERE, and click the blue Sign In with Twitter button. Follow the directions on the screen to link your card.
#2. Open up Twitter and tweet the following:
#AmexStarbucks Be sure you use the hashtag!#3. You’ll immediately get a notification in your Twitter account that says “Thx for enrolling in #AmexStarbucks offer.” That means you’re “approved”. Don’t proceed to step 4 until you get that!
#4. Open the Starbucks app on your phone or go to Starbucks.com to re-load your Starbucks card with $10. Make sure you use your linked American Express card to pay for this. (If you have another card already in your account, be sure you don’t space out and automatically select that one!)
#5. Within a few minutes, you’ll get an email from the American Express network, confirming that you used your Twitter AmEx Offer.
And that’s it – you spend $10, get back $5 and enjoy a free latte, thanks to AmEx!
