Amazon has the Black & Decker CHV1510 Dustbuster 15.6-Volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vacuum on sale right now for $39.99 – more than half off the original price of $90. And it ships for free with Amazon Prime or via Super Saver Shipping.
If you need a car vacuum, or just want a handheld one for your annoying household pick-ups, this is a great choice – with 4.5 star rating. (The most compelling to me were all the “this machine can really suck” comments, actually.)
Remember, Amazon pricing can change on a dime, so always confirm prices before you check-out.
We cleaned out our van a few Fridays again. It was frightening.
Forget about the stray socks, mismatched shoes, two sweatshirts and even one pair of jeans (why do my kids feel the need to disrobe in the car?); the art projects; the end-of-the-week update notes from gan; the half-empty sippy cups; and the half-eaten apples.
It was the crumbs – oh dear G-d, the crumbs – that really did me in.
In some areas, they were so thick, I couldn’t see the floor mats.
I am not exaggerating.
I schlepped out my Dyson, and, while I love that vacuum in a possibly unnatural way, it just didn’t work for me. I mean, sure, it sucked out the crumbs in the middle row (and awesomely, too – I might add), but it would have taken a contortionist to get into the back row with that thing.
And thus began my quest for a handheld vacuum for our car.
Sure, I can go to the gas station and pay $1.50 in quarter for 90 seconds of their vacuum. But will I? The (six-month build-up of) crumbs in my van seems to answer that question, no?
After some Consumer Report checking and review-reading, I settled on the Black & Decker CHV1510 Dustbuster 15.6-Volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vacuum. It seems to have the best ratings, and its bagless, which was important to me.
Of course, all this Googling brought me to Amazon, where I found this Cyclonic wonder for only $39.99, which is – woohoo – the lowest its ever been per the price tracker AND more than 50% off its original price of $90.
And, as above, shipping is free.
Your crumby embarrassment of a car will thank you. 😉
