  1. glad i checked your page this morning. these are yum!
even without all four coupons, 50 cents each isn’t too bad.
    Thanks!

  2. I am still new at the CVS/Walgreen’s rewards. So If I use my coupons I will pay $6 for 4 bags of candy, and then I will have $5 of “reward” on my card. The $5 on my card is to be used in the future? I am assuming these “rewards” expire? I am not sure if I am organized enough to roll these or not. How frequently do they expire??? Did I ever mention I detest shopping and detest driving in and out of parking lots.

    • Dana — Yes, you’re right. Your out of pocket is $6 (unless you have RR to “roll”) and then you get back $5 in RR.

Both CVS and Wags give you your rewards on printer receipts. The CVS ones are good for a month. Wags’ ones are good for 2 weeks. That short time frame is one of the reasons that I don’t usually shop at Walgreens. In order to avoid this, if there is a deal that is too good not to do (I consider the pretzel M&Ms to be in that category ;-), then I will immediately use up my Register Rewards – if possible on something that’s on sale, but definitely on something I need (like laundry detergent or TP.) We can go together sometime if you want a shopping buddy (I also don’t love shopping, ironically enough!).

  3. I tried several times to print the FB coupons and it just wouldn’t work for me. I’m taking it as a sign that I don’t need pretzel m&ms, although I am curious to try them.

  4. Well, I did it. It did take a little for the coupons to print, but I was successful in getting 4 of them. The register was a nightmare, but the woman was patient. The M&Ms rang up at $3.49/bag. So I had to have her manually override the price. Then I had another coupon for $5 off of a $20 purchase. Being frugal I made sure my purchases were going to be as close to $20 as possible. When she scanned it, it said $5 off $25. So she had to manually override that too – this is all while a line of customers are staked behind us at 9:59pm and the store closed at 10pm. With all the manual overriding I have no idea how they track inventory using their registers. Anyway we are home with a booty full of purchases, husband impressed, 4 bags of M&Ms for Hanukah gelt, and our $5 coupon for our next venture.
