Black Friday Ads ~ What You Can Expect & When

I’m gonna be honest here and tell you that I have very mixed feelings about Black Friday.

Personally, if I do any shopping the Friday after Thanksgiving, it’s from the comfort (and safety) of my home – because (a) I prefer online shopping in general and (b) I really, really, really don’t like crowds. Or getting up at 4 in the morning.

Not to mention the fact that sometimes the frenzy of Black Friday can induce people to purchase things that they don’t even really need, can’t even really afford, and aren’t even really that good of a deal.

Hurmph.

But I write a site about saving money. And I’d be stupid not to know that Black Friday is a major boom among deal-savvy shoppers – because Yes, there are some GREAT deals to be had. And when you are intentional about your shopping, you can walk away with huge savings.

So, despite my mixed feelings, starting in another two weeks or so, I will be sharing the best deals from various stores around the country – with options to purchase online, if you, too, can’t bear the crowds at 4 in the morning.

In the meantime, however, I’ve fielded a number of questions already about, “Where can I get the best deal on x?” and “What price can I expect to see on y?” So, for those of you that just can’t wait, I wanted to suggest that you sign up for Brad’s Deals Black Friday list.

Yes, I still hope that you will turn to KOAB for all the best Black Friday deals. But in the interim, here’s something to tide you over.

  1. I have never been a black Friday shopper before, but I am pregnant and was wondering are there typically any good sales on big ticket baby items on Black Friday?
