  1. Baila Berkovich says

Ok, so I am new to really paying attention to couponing. What is SS? Where do i get it?

  2. Baila Berkovich says

Is there a part of your blog where you tell us where to get all the coupons? mail? websites? etc?

    • Baila Berkovich says

silly me i just found it 🙂 You have semi-smart followers ;p

      • Hee hee!

As for where to get them the Smart Source, Red Plum and P&G inserts are all in the paper – so if you don’t get them, there’s not another way.

There are often printable coupons, too – and I link to those in the post when available.

        Hope that helps!

  3. Mara, Is there a way you can tell us how to group these together to that we can use up the ECB right away? They always expire for me.

    • If you don’t have any ECBs to roll today, I’d divide this up into two or three transactions. Put the ones with coupons first, so your out of pocket is as low as possible. Roll those onto the next one, and then do it again.

Use what is left of your ECBs to get the freebies at Black Friday.

Then my strategy for using up ECBs (if I don’t want to roll them later) is to buy household essentials like TP, feminine hygiene and/or diapers. Fun stuff 😉

  4. Looks great, thanks. Just FYI, the south beach products have a crc (d) on them now.

  5. there was a printable coupon for the 3m hook, linked to on couponingfor4

  6. I got the thermacare, playdough, carmex, charmin, kleenex. The store did not have the children’s advil nor the hook on sale. I had a dollar coupon for the thermacare and one ecb so ended up paying 6 and coming away with 7.48ECSs!

Thank you Mara for making the process so easy and seamless.

  7. I got the 10 count of Advil at cvs today for free but we need more (can be generic, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, etc.). Where is the best deal? Drugstore or Costco or amazon? I’d say we’d use 50-75 pills max before they expire but if, say, Costco is cheaper overall, we can donate to work, friends, family, etc. Thanks!

Ps: every time I try to leave a comment, it says it fails…

    • Are you trying to comment from your phone, Mich? I see both comments – I’m not sure why it’s giving you trouble, but let me know the device and OS and I can see if I can track down the issue.

Best price varies – you can often get free (25-count) at Target. I’d say it comes every 10-12 weeks or so.

  9. Thanks for the prompt reply! Yes, trying to comment on my iPhone 5 (up to date) using the koab app. I think I once tried the web version in my iPhone and had the same error message. Anyway, I apologize for double posting!

If you could post when this target deal comes around for the ibuprofen (or if you see another good deal elsewhere), I’d really appreciate it!

  10. The South Beach meal and snack bars are both OU!
