Kosher on a Budget is a personal blog written and edited by me, Mara Strom Sachs. By sharing tips, stories, recipes, freebies, coupons, and deal match-ups, I hope to give you the tools and inspiration to live a rich, kosher life that is within your means.

Writing this blog is a labor of love, but like any labor, it demands a lot of hard work. In order to compensate the costs associated with running Kosher on a Budget, such as server space, design and coding, and of course my own efforts, I made the decision to monetize this blog. What does this mean to you?

Paid Advertisements? Yes!

You will notice paid advertisements in my sidebar. Most of these ads have been placed by ad networks, such as Google AdSense, which uses a metric that targets its ads based on your online behavior. I do not control which ads run nor when they run, although I can block inappropriate ads from appearing on my blog. If you should ever see an ad that doesn’t seem kosher — either literally or figuratively — please contact me. It helps me if you can take a screen shot of the ad.

I also feature private advertisements from small (and not-so-small) businesses. If you have a small business that may be of interest to my readers, I would love to talk to you. Please contact me.

Affiliate Links? Yes!

On occasion, when you click on a link to a coupon, freebie or great deal, the company I am linking to will pay me a small “commission” if you print that coupon, order that freebie, or buy that great deal.

Kosher on a Budget is affiliated with a number of companies, including Amazon. Kosher on a Budget is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com, endless.com, and myhabit.com.

All posts on Kosher on a Budget that contain affiliate links, including links to Amazon.com, will clearly be identified by the following disclaimer:

Sponsored Posts? On Occasion!

When the right opportunity presents itself, I will, on occasion, accept payment from a sponsor to write a post or series of posts. If and when I write a sponsored post, I will clearly identify the post as such and I will, as always, share my honest opinions and experiences with you.

Paid Content? No!

The integrity of this blog is essential to me, which is why I will never post content that someone else has written and paid me to post.

My readers are my #1 priority, so if you have any questions about the advertisements or affiliate links that appear on this blog, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly!

Hi! My husband, baby and I are moving to Overland Park, Kansas (we are staying with the Greenbergs-near BIAV). My husband is on a plane headed there right now and I will be joining him in 3 days! I just found your blog and am sooo impressed. We have so much in common-I feel like we would be good friends. We lived in Israel for 5 years, and this past year we were in LA (where my parents live). We fell in love with Kansas and the BIAV community and are so excited to be moving there. We are also Dave Ramsey followers, or at least trying to be-we just started :) I listen to him everyday on the radio. Also, my husband and I are big “foodies” , we love to cook (especially cooking on a budget) and host. I look forward to reading your blog and would love to meet you.
P.S I would love to enter to win the DVD, thank you!
