Help Me Help You!

I have to ask a big favor: I need you to help me HELP YOU.

It’s about Facebook.

You see, Facebook is KILLING me. Well, not me, but KOAB.

There are nearly 19,000 of you who have liked the KOAB page on Facebook. That’s a crazy lot of people.

But the way Facebook’s algorithms have been tweaked over time in favor of PAID CONTENT, the number of you who actually see KOAB’s posts keeps dwindling. In fact, if one-fourth of you see something I post, I’m doing a MAJOR happy dance.

Most of the time, it’s closer to 1/20th of you.

Two years ago, with admittedly fewer of you following along, about 3 out of 4 of you were seeing every post. To say things have taken a downturn would be an understatement.

Every day, I get frustrated emails from readers saying, “I’m not seeing you anymore. Why am I not seeing you anymore?!”

So, I’ve got two questions for you – and I really need your input. Because I want to figure this out and turn things around!

Question #1. What do you want and need? Tell me what deals I can find for you that would make your life easier, better, more affordable — and I will look! I promise!

{I mean, maybe I’m just not finding deals on stuff you want & need. Do you not want & need clothing, FitBits, household stuff, personal care products, toys, and baby gear? Because that’s what I’ve posted in the last 24 hours! But maybe you don’t and somehow Facebook knows that and just isn’t posting it in your feeds because they KNOW you don’t want or need it?!}

Question #2: What is the best way for ME to communicate with YOU about time-sensitive deals?

I’m going to continue banging my head against the proverbial Facebook wall, because I know that you – like me – like hanging out there. And you want your content served up in your feed, just like I do.

But I have to be honest with myself that it’s just not looking like the best way to communicate with you — especially about time-sensitive deals.

Because when I put it on Facebook, most of you just don’t see it. Unless I pay for it. And I really, really don’t want KOAB to become a site that is paying for you to see its content.

We’ve got the daily newsletter and the HOT DEAL text alerts, but maybe you have other ideas (you are smart, so I bet you do!).

Any thoughts or insights will be much appreciated!!! Leave a comment here, send me an email, leave me a comment on Facebook…. just talk to me! I want to make this work for you!
