*NEW* Your Personalized KOAB Shopping List

Some of you have noticed that there is a new feature around here: The KOAB Shopping List!

On store deal posts – like for Target, CVSWalgreens and Black Friday 2011 – you can now check the items that you want to buy and import them into a personalized shopping list. Your list will even tell you what coupons you need to print or clip!

One of the coolest things about this new Shopping List feature is that you can add multiple items from multiple posts and they will all go onto your list (sorted by store) – which means all your weekly deal shopping will be in one convenient place.

To use the feature, simple check the little box next to the item(s) you plan to buy.

When you’re done scanning the post, click the yellow Add to My Shopping List button (at the bottom of the list).

Note: You will need to have pop-ups enabled, because a floating window will open up on the right of your screen.

When you’re ready to print your list, just click on the little printer icon button and tell it which printer you want to use.

Or you can do what I do, which is cut & paste the list into Evernote (my favorite online notetaker). I love Evernote because it syncs up in a cloud somewhere (clearly, I’m a technology genius) and then I can see the list on my iPhone.

No more pen and paper shopping lists for me! Now, I just add everything I need to my Evernote shopping list on my home computer — and have it with me at the store, right there on my iPhone! LOVE!

But back to the KOAB Shopping List feature… Have you had a chance to give it a whirl yet? What do you think?!

  1. Hi,
    I feel totally stupid.
I can’t find a working shopping list on your site.
The post you put here seems to be a screenshot rather than an active app.
    Please advise .
    Thanks

    • Hi Liba – You have to be looking at a post that would have a list on it, which is basically the store match-ups (Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.) Then, you click the boxes, check off the yellow Add to My Shopping List button and then that shopping list will pop up. You are correct that these are just screen shots (used to illustrate, but clearly I didn’t do such a great job of explaining that – sorry!!)

      HTH!
