Seder Planning Made Easier

Jewish Holidays in a Box

My friend Ellen is founder of JewishHolidaysInABox.com, which has released their brand new Guide to Celebrating Passover — a  36-page manual and two audio files designed to make celebrating Passover easier and more enjoyable.

I recognize that most KOAB readers aren’t necessarily Ellen’s target audience, but I asked her to share a little bit more about her program, since it may resonate for some of you — or someone you know.

Many of us have fun getting ready for our Seder. Just thinking about it brings out our creative juices.

For others, though, the task seems daunting, even impossible. That’s why I created the 36-page downloadable guide, Celebrate Passover: How to Plan a Fun, Simple Seder.”

I wanted to demonstrate an easy entry point – with lots of tips and checklists to make preparation go faster and involve the kids.

Our goal is to empower families who want to participate more fully in a Seder, so that they can build powerful, positive memories.

The Guide includes an overview of the Passover basics, pre-seder activities — including cooking and bedikat chametz, instructions for hosting your first seder, and suggestions for keeping children involved and engaged.

If you know of friends or family this would help, please pass the word along. The cost is only $4.99 for the three-part package: the downloadable PDF and two audio files, including a pronunciation tutorial.
