Shout Out to Day of Discovery Students!

On Sunday, I had the great pleasure of teaching a class on the 10 Commandments of Saving Money to a wonderful group of men and women attending Kansas City’s Day of Discovery.

In order to make sure that you have everything you need to be successful in your money saving journey, I have put together this list of links you may want to read further.

  • We briefly talked about deal match-ups  – where frugal bloggers like me tell you what’s on sale and what coupons to use to save even more. I encourage you to follow my kosher match-ups for TargetCVS, Walgreens, Walmart and Trader Joe’s.
  • I also want to introduce you to the blog of my dear friend Kelly from Kansas City Mamas. If you shop at Hen House, HyVee or Price Chopper, Kelly writes a weekly match-up post with all the sale items paired with coupons. Read her blog to make your local shopping a cinch!
  • Whatever organization method you use, you will want to know about the KOAB Coupon Database. It’s your go-to resource for finding all the best coupons. Whether you are looking to save money on mayo or margarine, just plug in the key words, press enter and quickly locate all the relevant coupons.
  • Learn how I get most of your toiletries and household cleaning supplies for pennies on the dollar by shopping at drugstores like CVS and Walgreens.

If you have questions, comments or just want to chat, you can always reach me by email.

Thank you so much to the Rabbinic Association of Greater Kansas City for inviting me to be a presenter at the Day of Discovery!
