Hey Chicagoans (Chicagolandians?)! I can’t believe it’s been a week since we were together.
I had a blast meeting you, sharing some laughs, and dishing on my favorite subjects: budgeting, meal planning and – of course – couponing.
As promised, I wanted to share a few helpful links with you, just to make sure you’re all set in your new journey to save tons of money on groceries and household/personal items.
- Review the five fundamentals of “home economics”, which we covered in Tuesday’s class, including making a realistic budget, keeping a price book and menu planning. You can also sign up for the FREE budgeting software Mint.com, which we talked about.
- Find all the coupons you need for your next grocery trip in my Coupon Database
- Reinforce the fundamentals of shopping with coupons and saving at CVS and Walgreens
- Start turning your savings from pennies into dollars by practicing the stockpiling principle
- Learn how I save money when shopping online – a topic we didn’t get to cover in class, including earning FREE $5 gift cards to Amazon.com thanks to Swagbucks
And don’t forget, I’m always here by email, Facebook and Twitter if you have questions!
Thanks again for coming. I loved meeting you all!
I just wanted to say that I love Price Books! I put up a template to make it easier to keep one on my blog. Otherwise it’s gets too messy. Sounds like it was a great class!
Thanks, B&B!
