What I’ve Been Reading: Social Media, Crafting, Kids’ Allowance & Blog Law

Here are some of the posts on the blogosphere that caught my attention this week:

Using Social Media in a Positive Way @ Life in the Married Lane – Despite calls among many bloggers to put limits on social media, Rivki shares her perspective on the positive powers of the Internet.

Decoupaged Wine Bottle Vases @ Creative Jewish Mom – If you don’t know this blog, you will love it! She is so talented and inspiring. I think this decoupage project would be a fun undertaking for my kids that we could use to decorate our Sukkah.

5 Reasons to Reconsider Paying Your Kids for Chores @ Frantically Simple – I wholeheartedly agree with not linking allowance to specific chores, but I know this is a hotly debated topic. I’d love for you to take a read and then share your thoughts with me.

Blog Law – Is Your Giveaway Legal @ Saving For Someday – Sara is so smart, and so generous in sharing her incredible knowledge of blog law (yes, there’s a growing field of law pertaining to us crazy bloggers). If you have a blog and you run givewaways on your blog, you MUST read this post!
