There are some good deals on produce and dairy at Whole Foods this week!
Brown Cow Yogurt, single serve cups – 2/$1
Use (4) $.50/3 coupon here (I kept getting an error message when I tried to print these, so if you have the same problem, you can do what I did: Call Brown Cow at 1-888-HAY-LILY (429-5459) and they will put the coupons in the mail to you. I just hope they get here in the next two weeks before the WF deal ends.)
Buy a case (12) and get an additional 10% discount
= $.28 each after sale, case discount and coupons!
Organic Jonagold Apples* – 5 lbs/$5
Organic Bartlet Pears* – 5 lbs/$5
My target price on most produce items is no more than $1/pound, so I’m always psyched when I can get organic produce within this range as well!
And while we’re on the subject of great deals on organic food items, I wanted to let you know about this awesome list of organic coupons that I came across from a new (to me) blogger called Your Green Helper. That’s where I found out about the Brown Cow coupon. I’d definitely recommend that you search her list before you go out to do your organic shopping!
*Re. the 5/$5 pricing… Did you know that most of the time, when the advertising says something is x/$x, it’s just a way to get you to buy more than you normally would? In actuality, you usually don’t need to buy the full quantity to get the sale price. Check the signs — as long as they don’t say in small print that the single unit price is higher, you’re good! BTW, in Israel, this completely doesn’t apply and you DO need to buy the full quantity.
