Sears near us carries Dollie & Me clothing and the *regular* prices are $20-$30. When it goes on clearance (around the end of each season), you can get them for $5-$10 each. Frankly, they are not the world’s best quality. I got a Dollie & Me dress for my 8 year old recently (pre-Pesach dress shopping) and the waist seam unraveled on the first wearing. The kids like them b/c the doll clothes do fit American Girl dolls, as you mentioned, and the styles are cute. So I do buy them sometimes, although my preference would be Lands’ End for quality and lifetime returns. But if you are in love with the Dollie & Me clothes, check your local Sears before doing this deal–you might get a much better price.
