Amazon Free Shipping Threshold Dropped to $35 (for non-Prime Members)

Disclosure StatementGOOD NEWS! If you are a frequent Amazon shopper, but don’t have a Prime membership, it just got a bit easier to get free shipping on your orders.

Over the weekend, Amazon quietly dropped the threshold for free shipping from a $49 minimum order back down to a $35 minimum order.

This move reverses their decision from last year to increase the minimum order requirement – and brings Amazon’s free ship threshold closer in line to Walmart ($35) and Target ($25).

Of course, I still love my $99/year Prime membership — not just for the free two-day shipping (NO minimum), but also for all the Amazon TV & movies, music, photo storage and Kindle lending library!
