Creative Mishloach Manot Ideas: Cowboy’s Happy Trails

Today’s creative mishloach manot idea comes from Jessica Levy, who created an adorable Cowboy theme from her family – including homemade s’mores pops!

Our theme this year is cowboys/cowgirls, since our kids are going as them!  Of course they are young enough to easily be convinced to go as what the other is going as. 😉

When Oriental Trading was having a free shipping sale,  I ordered boot shaped mugs and bandana napkins.

The mugs got filled with trail mix and some homemade s’mores pops for the kids’ friends.

The card reads “Happy Trails from the Levy’s”  — because that is the extent of my creativity in that department!

I’m all about keeping it simple and cheap: This year’s will cost me less than $20 for a dozen mishloach manot and smores pops.

Jessica Levy is a stay at home/work at home mom and wife. She is married to the love of her life and together they have two beautiful, yet energetic, children.  Jessica stays busy with lots of crafty/sewing type projects on the cheap and fancies herself as sort of a Martha Stewart — on a budget.

Comments

  1. I was sondering if you would be able to get and post the recipe for the smores pops?

  2. recipe for s’mores pops? Sounds cute!

  3. The s’mores pops were made with the large size marshmallows, put a Lenin stick in, but if I did them again I’d do a candy stick, it’s safer :). Then I dipped the marshmallows in melted chocolate then dipped in crushed gram crackers. They were a huge hit! I may have eaten a few too 😉
