CVS Deals for Week of 7/25/10

I’m not blown away by the CVS deals this week. That happens sometimes, so I want to caution those of you new to the CVS thing not to get discouraged. Just hold on to your ECBs if there is nothing (1) that you need, (2) that you want, or (3) free after ECBs. As I said in my How to Shop at CVS post, ECBs are good for a month, so you don’t have to feel pressured to run back to CVS and use them right away if the deals aren’t doing it for you that week.

Anyway, if you want to see for yourself, please visit the CVS match-up from the Thrifty Mama. If you need laundry detergent, it looks like there is a pretty sweet deal on Arm & Hammer.

  1. is the diaper deal good?

    • @Dara – I try to spend no more than $.12/diaper. Ideally I spend @ $.10/diaper. I’ve seen that some are getting a $4.50 off CVS coupon on one box of Pampers from the “magic coupon machine” at the entrance to the store. Also, I have a bunch of $3 off Pampers coupons, some of which were mailed to me through Vocalpoint (are you signed up through them?). So, if you could combine the ECB, with the $4.50 Q with the $3 Q, then THAT would be a good deal. But just the $2 off Q, plus the $10 in ECB isn’t a stellar price. HTH!

      • I haven’t been to CVS yet this week, but I’m seeing it reported that the box actually contains three jumbo-size packages. If this is the case, then $9.99 (or less, if you have better Qs) after ECBs and coupons is actually quite a good deal. LMK if you snag a box!
