  1. I made three purchases. The first was for the CVS version of zyrtec which was on sale and I paid 3.69 for a 5 pack and got an ECB for 3.69 my next transaction was to buythe tampons which were 6.79. I used the $1 coupon plus the 3.69 ECB on the reciept. i paid 2.10 and i received the ECB for 6.79. my third transation was for 3 deodorants (i had to add them because initially i was under the amount of the 6.79 ECB) for 2.50 each, a lysol wipes for 5.00, two finish dishwasher detergent tablets for 2.99 each, two airwick refills for 4.99 each and two airwick warmers for 1.49 each. I had $5 off for spending $25 (that was on my CVS card), two $4 coupons for the airwick and a bunch of other airwick and finish coupons that all got accepted. so paid for it using the 6.79 ECB plus 71 cents and received the $10 ECB. in the end i paid 6.50 in cash, i currently have a register ECB for $10 to spend at CVS and came home with a package of tampons, 3 deodorants, two airwick oil warmers, 4 oil refills, a 5 pack of cvs-zyrtec, two packages of finish dishwasher detergent tablets, and an 80 count container of lysol wipes. so i essentially made 3.50 buying things that I need/can use!
not bad for about 15 minutes prep before going to CVS. plus i got to get out of the house for a half-hour without any kids 🙂

  2. I spent a bit more out of pocket than Michelle, but here is what I got: 18 rolls of Bounty towels, 2 boxes of Puffs with lotion, 18 AA Duracell batteries, 2 cans of Bumblebee pink Salmon and 2 bottles of Dawn dishwashing detergent. I spent $11.03 out of pocket and got a $10 ECB back. My first transaction was the papertowels, tissues and batteries. I had $10 in ECB from last week, a coupon for $1.50 off of Duracell batteries and a coupon for $0.25 off Bounty (lame coupon, but every bit helps). I had the $5 off $25 on my card from last week’s e-mail. Total was $10.01 – got $10 in ECB back. Second transaction – 2 cans of Pink Salmon and 2 bottles of Dawn Dishwashing detergent. I had a $1/2 Bumblebee coupon from Recycle Bank, a $1 off Dawn from the P&G coupon book, a $0.25 off of Dawn coupon from the paper and $1.50 in ECB. Final total? $1.02. Total spent, $11.03, $10 in ECB back. I’m waiting on the freebies for a restock later in the week – I didn’t get out to the store until this evening and much of it was (predictably) gone.
