We received a challah plate that was beautiful with beads and such. However, it was way to small to hold 2 challahs and you couldn’t cut on it so now i used it as a fish plate.

I like my big platters that I use for chicken. I feel so accomplished when I walk in with a huge platter piled high with yummy food for a table-ful of family and guests. Is that crazy? (I feel so anti-feminist! lol.)

I have too many favorite serving pieces to name one. But in all my years of having company finding a big enough cake plate that doesn’t knock the icing has always been my number one pet peeve. This one is stunning. Crossing my fingers.
A cut crystal bowl from Tiffany that we received as a gift is my favorite…it’s the perfect size and looks beautiful, no matter what’s in it!
I love my very old china from my husband’s grandmother. Ruffled edge bone china dessert plates with heavy gold trim. Gorgeous.

I could not even begin to pick my favorite serving piece. I love them all – glass, ceramic, metal, crystal. Each piece enhances my table in its own way.
My favorite are my Correlle oven to table pieces that fit into a silver colored piece that allows you to serve the dish without getting burned.

One of my favorite serving pieces is actually 4 pieces that came together as a wedding shower gift. It’s a metal rectangular tray that’s great for serving a loaf of gefilte fish, or it can serve as the base for 3 detachable and matching square bowls that are perfect for horseradish, chumus, guacamole, etc.
This cake plate is beautiful and I’d love to add it to my limited collection of serving pieces.
