I got to make some labels for my kiddos (who are going to a local day camp) and I love them! I choose a sports theme (anyone who knows my boys won’t be surprised) and used a coordinating color for the text.
Since my children won’t need as much stuff as they would at sleep-away camp, I elected to make up our labels with our last name — that way both boys can use them (as can my daughter, who likes baseball too!).
You could certainly use your child’s first name or first & last name, though.

My daughter is only 2 so she doesn’t lose much yet, but we don’t let her take her own toys to playgroup because they probably won’t come back and there are plenty of toys there already!
My kids tend to lose toys the most. My husband loses jackets so its hereditary. I’m also shocked at how often the baby loses socks. ANything that can be easily removed or dropped is lost.

My teenagers love to lose sneakers! The shoe labels would be perfect! The label collection would be great for my high-schooler who is volunteering for the IDF (non-combat) and a food pantry in Israel this summer. I follow/receive your newsletter and enjoy it very much. We tend to lose water bottles pretty frequently. (Now I label them with painters tape – it stays on even when I wash them) At camp my DD seemed to lose a few towels last summer.

My girls lose their shoes because they would rather go barefoot anywhere, anytime, whatever weather! Well, maybe not in a blizzard, but almost! I get your newsletter and enjoy it greatly.
This is easy: sweatshirts!! I stopped giving them water bottles – just too ridiculous how often they were getting lost. There’s a water fountain and they’ll just have to live with that or buy their own.
