Looking to get an electric toothbrush? Here are some great options!

Amazon has a $10 off e-coupon you can clip and use on the Philips Sonicare 2 Series Plaque Control Sonic Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush either in white (I have this one and love it – highly recommend!) or in black, blue, pink, or blue right now – that’s Amazon’s lowest price.

  • A gap between the handle and the brush head is expected – the gap allows the BH room to move accordingly
  • Removes up to 6x more plaque than a manual toothbrush. Includes 1 ProResults plaque control brush head
  • Patented sonic technology: with up to 31,000 brush strokes per minute, dynamic fluid action helps clean between teeth and along the gumline
  • Smartimer encourages 2 minutes of brushing as recommended by dentists
  • Easy-start feature slowly increases power over first 14 uses making the switch to philips sonicare easy
  • Two-color battery charge indicator lets you know when to recharge; 2 weeks battery life

If you see $39.95 on the widgets* below, that means you can pick one of them up for $29.95 after e-Coupon.

Two-day shipping is free with your Amazon Prime account. If you’re not a member, you can get free 5-7 day shipping via Super Saver Shipping when you spend $49 or more.

  1. Hi Mara,

Can you please provide some more detail on electric toothbrushes?

A few weeks ago you highlighted the Sonicare Essence (on sale then for $25-5), while on this post you are mentioning the Sonicare 2 Series (on sale $40-10). I am not familiar with these, as I’ve always used a regular toothbrush until now. I’d like to make an informed purchase as to which electric toothbrush to buy – and I don’t necessary want to pay for the top model my dentist is recommending.

Can you compare and contrast some, so I know which one to buy?

This is a great question and I don’t know that much either. I have the 2 series (purchased from Costco) and I think the “buzzing” is a bit more subtle than the less expensive models. But I would be happy to look into this morning and write up a quick post – It may need to wait until after the chagim, though!
