Purim Giveaway | Artisan Caramels (2 Winners)

One of the coolest things about writing Kosher on a Budget is that I get to make friends with people from all over the world.

Melinda from the blog Kitchen-Tested is one of those people. You may remember Mel from her awesome rainbow cake for Parashat Noach and her delicious sausage stuffed squash recipe, both of which she shared here on KOAB.

Now Melinda is expanding from writing about her recipes, to sharing their sweetness – literally – with all of us.

Mel has just launched her handmade caramel business, Cara-Mel’s (Get it? How cute is that name?).

Her truly artisan candies are non-dairy chocolate-covered plain or peanut butter caramels with various toppings. They are certified kosher pareve by the Vaad of the Five Towns.

Recently Melinda sent me my own delicately wrapped box of caramel goodness. While I may eventually share a caramel or two with my kiddos, when my Cara-Mel’s package arrived, I quickly shooed them out of my room so I could savor this indulgence with a degree of privacy. (Rare in my house!)

Cara-Mel’s are truly sinful. Dark. Rich. And they do not taste pareve. Which, to me, is the mark of an exceptional chocolate.

Even though I was a bit stingy in sharing with my kiddos, I am more than happy to be generous with all of you!

Cara-Mel’s has graciously agreed to give all KOAB readers FREE shipping on any order through March 4, when you mention that Kosher on a Budget sent you. To place an order, you can check out her selection and prices (so reasonably priced!), and then contact Melinda directly at kitchentested@gmail.com. Don’t forget to mention KOAB for your free shipping!

Even more exciting than free shipping (and you KNOW that I think free shipping is exciting!) is that two lucky KOAB readers will WIN their own Premium Gift Box with 24 Cara-Mel’s (plain, peanut butter or combination) with any toppings (retail value is $30).

Talk about a sweet treat for Purim! (Although winners are under no obligation to share their caramels in their mishloach manot ;-))

To enter the giveaway, please complete the Rafflecopter widget. The first entry is required and the rest are optional. The more you enter, the better your chances are of winning!

Good luck and b’tayavon!

Disclaimer: Cara-Mel’s provided me with one box of eight caramels to facilitate my review. I was not otherwise compensated to run this giveaway. I am truly just happy to share my friend’s sweet creations with you.
