Do you know about PJ Library?
It’s a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, which delivers free Jewish children’s books to families raising Jewish children ages 6 months to 8 years old.
It’s a great program and has definitely filled out our bookshelves over the years. Our two youngest love getting their package every month.
One word of caution: We have loved many of the books, but we have also found that some of them weren’t the best fit for our family. We typically skim the books first before giving them to our children.
And don’t forget about Sifriyah B’Pijama – the Hebrew-language version of PJ Library. Once a month, we get books or CDs in Hebrew — for FREE.
