I switched from the MacBook Pro to the Air the last time I got a new computer and I love it. It is lighter and works much faster. My Pro had more memory and yet was always lagging with the bajillion tabs I have open on a day like today! Unless you are doing really heavy editing (think video creators), I think you will love having the Air.
