The Walmart Black Friday ad has been released!
It’s funny because just yesterday, I was talking to a fellow blogger and we were trying to predict how Covid will impact Black Friday.
I now have at least one response to share with you: Walmart has decided to spread out its Black Friday experience across three separate sale events during the month of November, with most items available online only.
Event #1
The first of these three sales will start on Wednesday, November 4th at 7 pm EST and run through November 7. It will be almost entirely online, with just a handful of select sales in-store on Saturday, November 7th.
Highlight will include Apple AirPods for only $99 (mark your calendars for that one!) and a onn. 42-inch UHD Roku TV for just $88.
Event #2
There will be a second online sale starting a week later, on November 11 at 7 pm EST, with some in-store deals in stores on November 14th. The focus of Sale #2 will be electronics, with big discounts on TVs, computers and tablets.
Highlights will include the Lenovo Ideapad 3 for just $149 and the HP 14″ 2-in-1 Touch Teal Chromebook for $179 (reg. $299).
Event #3
Walmart will wrap up their month of savings with a third event starting on Wednesday, November 25 — the timing and scope of this sale is definitely what we expect from a ‘traditional’ Black Friday sale. You will see big discounts on even more electronics, plus toys, apparel, home goods & more.
Walmart will have select in-store deals for Black Friday (aka Event #3), starting at 5 am local time.
Customers will also have the option to pick up their online orders through Walmart’s contact-free curbside pickup service.
I know from years past that so many of you (like me!) have always preferred shopping online. All the more so this year, when all the best deals will be online and we won’t need to worry about exposure to Coronavirus just to score a cheap TV.
Bear in mind that if you do decide to shop in-store, Walmart will be requiring customers to enter the store single-file, and will have associates at the front to hand them a sanitized shopping cart. Walmart will also require masks (as they do currently) and meter admission to the store, in an effort to prevent large groups from congregating.
Stay tuned, because you know I’ll be sharing all the best Walmart Black Friday deals with you the moment that they go “live”. If you don’t want to miss a deal, sign up for my Deal Alert WhatsApp group.
