Okay, guys, I’m sorry: I know that Amazon ice-cream maker was the shortest lived deal ever. It was there when I started the post, it was there when I published the post, and then, three minutes later, the price had doubled. Gotta love Amazon pricing.
But this cloud definitely has a silver lining: I just found the same Cuisinart 1-1/2 Qt. Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker for just $27.97 on Home Depot WITH free shipping.
And if you click through ShopAtHome (and then search for the Cuisinart Ice Cream on the HD home page), you will get a whopping 13% cash-back, making your total just $24.33.
Under $25, shipped, for all the ice cream (or, you know, healthy frozen yogurt) I can make – now I’m really tempted!
(If you’re not yet signed up for ShopAtHome, do that HERE to get a $5 bonus when you make your first purchase within 30 days – hmmm, that’s like paying $19.33 for the ice cream maker ;-).)
Can I put in a plug for this? I bought the 2 qt. when Linens and Things closed and we have used it a ton – esp. for homemade sorbet for shabbos.
That is so good to hear. Off to email the deal to DH – maybe he’ll be tempted too (he’s more of a gadget guy than I am anyway!)
I use this every week to make pareve ice cream for shabbos. I love mine wish I had found it for this cheap when I bought it.
Well, if you find it again on some other site – it’s sold out. >:-(
I have wanted to buy an ice cream maker since we had homemade ice cream a year or so ago at a friends. I just keep worrying it is going to be one more gadget taking up space (which we don’t have a lot of).
Chava, how often do you use your ice cream maker and how many servings does it provide?
Thanks, Shifra
