Wondering what’s kosher at Trader Joe’s? Check out this list!
Even though you may already know (I didn’t), Trader Joe’s has decent kosher wine. I had read about it on a foodie blog, and my husband decided to check it out before Purim. He bought a mix of red and white wine bottles, all costing around $6 each. Although our TJ’s is a real schlep, this price is so much cheaper than what we usually pay, it’s worth the trip. The wines are dry and may not appeal to folks looking for a traditional sweet wine. The hechsher is OU-P.
In the Reader Q&A about the best deals at Trader Joe’s, a number of readers rec’d the sweet white. We haven’t found it yet by us, but I hope they’ll start carrying it soon.
