I’m thrilled to announced that another Kansas City congregation has joined the Yesh Tikvah Joplin Relief Campaign. Congregation B’nei Jehudah is now a drop-off site for donations.
You can drop of your contributions to tornado relief in Joplin at:
12320 Nall Avenue
Overland Park, KS 66209
To leave your donations, look for the collection box to the right of the front entrance. Thank you so much to Amy and the B’nei Jehudah leadership for their support of Yesh Tivkah!
Remember, the most urgently needed supplies are:
Baby care items, including:
- Diapers & wipes
- Formula, especially ready-made formula
- Baby food
- Bottles (new)
Over-the-Counter Medications & First-Aid Supplies, especially Ibuprofen
Bedding:
- Pillows (new)
- Sheets, blankets and comforters – used is okay, but must be clean and in good condition
$10 Gift Cards to Walmart – please don’t leave these in a donation bin. Bring them inside to the BIAV, Beth Shalom or B’nei Jehudah office and I will collect them in person.
One more quick update: If you are looking for more information on the Joplin campaign, I put up a button that will link you to all the most recent posts. (THANK YOU, SORA!) Just look over there –> in the right column for the button that says Joplin Tornado Relief. Click it and it will pull up all the Joplin-related posts.
We have a large amout of donations made at our facility. Do you know where we can send them. It is two pallets full.
Thank you
