Update: I’ve heard from two readers who despite seeing the coupon code are only saving $10, not $20. If that’s happening to you, try contacting Amazon’s Customer Service. Hope this gets sorted out soon!

In the market for a new Fire TV Stick 4K? Maybe to watch the big game this Sunday (#GoChiefs)?

Prime members should HURRY over to Amazon score the lowest ever price on the 4K stick — just $19.99 (reg. $49.99) when you use the coupon code 4K21FTV at checkout.

Those who are eligible should see the following by the price on the product page:

Confirm that you still see $39.99 on the widget below — if so, then all you need to do is add that code at checkout and you’ll save another $20.

We got our first Fire Stick during a Prime Day sale a few years ago and we LOVE it. We had the Chromestick before, and while it was cool to be able to “stream” to your TV content that was on your computer, it was a bit slow and clunky. And didn’t have nearly as many awesome apps at the Fire Stick.

  • Our most powerful streaming media stick.
  • Watch favorites from Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, and more. Stream for free with Pluto TV, IMDb TV, and more.
  • Launch and control content with the Alexa Voice Remote.
  • Enjoy brilliant picture with access to 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+.
  • Choose from 500,000 movies and TV episodes.
  • Experience tens of thousands of channels, apps, and Alexa skills.
  • Alexa on Fire TV provides a comprehensive voice experience—check weather, view live camera feeds, and more.

If you want to hear even more, my husband wrote up this review a few months after we go our first stick:

Though the Amazon Fire TV Stick is hardly a new product – it was first released in 2014 – we have only had one for the past month or so. However in that time it has been a complete game-changer in the quality of streaming TV that we watch.

The vast majority of our family’s TV watching is done via streaming video. We use the Amazon Video services that are free with our Prime membership and also watch a fair amount of baseball, our beloved Kansas City Royals in particular, through our MLB.TV account. Instantly upon installing the Fire Stick, the difference was obvious. The Prime content, which we had previously watched through our wireless Blu-ray, streamed smoother than before with an easy-to-use interface. The baseball, which we used to watch through our Chromecast stick, was of a much-higher quality in terms of picture and the app allows to see the box score during the game and to rewind back to the start of any inning and to return to live action.

There are dozens more apps that we have not used yet, including the ability to stream music for free from Prime Music (for Prime members) or the use of video apps for news stations and websites, pay-tv channels and sports networks and leagues. And there are hundreds of games too.

Note that while all the apps are free to download, some material must be purchased. However there is also a lot of free content available. The Watch ESPN app streams hundreds of hours of free content per month for those without cable. And the entire catalog of ESPN programming is available to those with a cable TV subscription. Other sports leagues offer free highlights, news or analysis – and sometimes even one free game per day – however most of the games are on a pay-basis.

The biggest drawback for us to the Fire TV Stick has been the size of the remote control. It is the smallest remote control in our house and is often easily lost under a cushion or a book if we or our kids are not careful. Though that can be frustrating, the overall picture is that the Fire TV Stick has been a worthwhile purchase that I can comfortably recommend it to anyone interested.

Two-day shipping is free with your Amazon Prime account. If you’re not a member, you can get free 5-7 day shipping via Super Saver Shipping, when you spend $25 or more.

🙁 Oh no! I’m so sorry. I can still see the code, but it looks like it’s not working at all for most people — or only taking off $10 for folks. I’m going to “expire” this post. Sorry! 🙁

  2. Its not accepting the code
