Summer vacation is right around the corner — which means it’s time for some FREE bowling!
For those of you who are new around here, you may not know about these awesome programs. But yes, most of the “chain” bowling centers around the country offer free bowling for children all summer long.
You do typically have to pay for shoe rental — but it still makes for a cheap summer activity.
(And we have actually been able to score cheap bowling shoes to buy in the past. For just $10 or $15 per pair, we found they paid for themselves if we bowled several times … plus, we could pass on the shoes to a younger sibling.)
Registered children receive 2 free games of bowling every day of summer — confirm hours and dates at your local participating center.
Shoe rental is not included.
This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer.
Available dates vary by center. Confirm by searching your state for nearby centers.
If you don’t have a local center included in the Kids Bowl Free program, you may want to check out this new Bowling Pass — a collaborative effort of Bowlero, Brunswick Zone, AMF & Bowlmor Lanes.
From May 22 thru September 4, you can get a pass good for 3 games of bowling each day + shoes ARE included for just $29.95 for kids 15 & under and for $35.95 for adults (and kids 16 & over). If you regularly bowl during the summer and need to rent shoes, this not-quite-free offer may actually end up a better deal for your family since shoe rental is included.
