Today only (7/31/11), you can score 24 rolls of Cottonelle toilet paper for just $3.50 – or 12.5¢ per roll. This is *definitely* a stock-up price on TP!
Here’s how the deal works:
Buy 2 12-packs of Cottonelle – $5 each
Buy 2 & Get $3.50 in Register Rewards
Use $1 off 1 pack of Cottonelle coupon in the Walgreens August coupon book* – will take of $2 ($1 for each pack)
Then use (2) $.75/1 coupons from 7/17SS or (2) $.50/1 Cottonelle printable coupon
= Like paying as low as $3 after coupons & register reward for 2 packages ($1.50 each)
I just did this deal and it worked perfectly for me – so I’m hopefully that you can get the same results! Keep in mind that Walgreens requires that the number of coupons does not exceed the number of items being purchased. I picked up some peanut brittle, on clearance for $.59 each (DH loves them). Take a look around – there were a tons of great clearance deals to help “absorb” your overage.
*The Walgreens coupon books are usually found in a spin-around at the front of the store. The coupons are valid from today – July 31.
Thanks, Couponing For 4.
Thanks for the heads up == found the Cottonelle and the in-store coupon, but unfortunately, there were no Register Rewards. I checked the flyer copy they had, and it only listed the sale and coupon, but no RR, and the cashiers told me they hadn’t seen any RR show up on these for anyone else either. Maybe the RR are regional?
Anyway, $4 for 12 rolls of Cottonelle beats what I can usually get locally even with a coupon, so it’s still good 🙂
Joanne – when did you go? The RR deal expired on Sunday – but it was national, so if you didn’t get it on Sunday, you can call the catalina number. I can get it for you.
D’oh – didn’t realize the RR was just a one-day thing…thanks for offering to help if I’d actually read your post correctly LOL
