Two years and eleven months ago, I wrote my first post on Kosher on a Budget. Which means that in just one month we celebrate our third anniversary!

I would love to win this American Girl doll for my mother. She married at a late age and wasn’t blessed with grandchildren until a late age as well. As a child I always remember her saying how she would love to have a granddaughter to buy an American girl doll for. Well her first grandchild was a girl who unfortunately didn’t make it. Now thank G-d she does have a granddaughter who she would love to give an American Girl doll to but do to financial hardship is unable to do so at this time. I would love to give her that happiness that she always dreamed of.

I would love to win the American Doll for my granddaughter, Ilana, who lives in Israel and last month came in third in a national mishnah contest. I am so proud of her, and I believe that she would adore this doll and take wonderful care of her.
