Have you signed up for Swagbucks yet?
If not, this morning you can get 80 bonus points — which is almost 1/5 of the way toward earning your first $5 Amazon gift card. Here’s how it works:
- Go here to sign up for Swagbucks
- You will automatically get credited 30 points for new account
- Then enter the code HelpJapan to get an additional 50 bonus points
The code is active only through 11 a.m. PDT.
Plus, don’t forget that through April 6, you can donate Swagbucks to Disaster Relief in Japan.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, in a nutshell, Swagbucks is a search engine like Google. But unlike Google, you can earn points for doing searches on Swagbucks (there are lots of other ways to earn points, too – see this post for more suggestions.)
When you earn enough Swagbucks points (referred to, originally, as … Swag Bucks), you can trade them in for awesome prizes, like $5 Amazon gift cards. Swagbucks truly is my favorite rewards program … especially since it takes zero effort on your part. After all, odd are – you are searching for stuff on the Internet all day long anyway!
I’ve been doing sb’s for a few months…I’m not obsessive about it, but I am trying to save up for a kindle…I want to buy it before we go on vacation in june and so whatever I have saved in SBs will go towards the purchase. I think I have $20 in amazon cards saved already!
I’m saving up for a kindle in the exact same way!
Love it that you and Amy are putting your SB to such good use. Being intentional with them, so even they don’t slip through your fingers!
