Amazon Prime Day 2020 | Coming October 13 & 14 (Select Early Deals LIVE NOW!)

Disclosure Statement

Amazon pricing can change on a dime, so please confirm prices before you check-out.

Okay, we’ve got official confirmation and it’s even bigger than the rumors indicated!

Due to Coronavirus, the Amazon mega-sale exclusively for members of Prime, which has taken place the last several years in July, was postponed — without much word about when — or if — it would be rescheduled.

Well after months of silence, Amazon has finally confirmed that Prime Day this year will take place on October 13th & 14th!

The deals will be starting at midnight on the 13th and will run for 48 straight hours, offering members two full days of shopping. (Bring on the caffeine! I’ve got a 7 hour head-start on the East Coast, so never fret – I’ll be blogging round-the-clock!)

Not a Prime member yet? Anyone can start a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to participate in Prime Day.

Due to the nature of these deals, many will have limited quantities and could sell out fast, so Prime members should keep the Kosher on a Budget homepage open in their browser – and refresh it regularly if they don’t want to miss any of them!

Of course, some of the so-called deals in Amazon Prime Day’s past were not actually  great deals at all. Like, who needs a special pair of scissors to cut each individual blade of grass in your yard — for 6% off??!! (Okay, that’s not an actual deal – but we’ve seen some doozies over the years!)

Fortunately, you’ve got me here to help you sort through it all. I’ll find the great stuff for you, and let you know what to pass on.

As always, I only post the best of the best – the items that have the best price (or at least the best price in a long while!) on highly rated items.

So stay tuned, because I’ll have all the details for you, and you won’t want to miss a deal!

If you have not yet signed up for Amazon Prime, now is a great time to start your 30 day trial so that you can take advantage of this global shopping event.

Amazon delivery

We usually see early Prime Day deals leading up to the official start of the sale (including Amazon Credit earning opportunities, exclusive Alexa-only deals, Lightning Deals, and more).

A few of the Early Prime Day Deals are actually LIVE NOW! Here are a few highlights:

If you’re not already a member of Amazon Prime you may want to get yourself a FREE 30-Day Trial of Prime. That will you’ll be all set to score the amazing deals from Prime Day (in case I didn’t make this clear before, these deals will be for Prime Members only).

  1. Any word on when the free shipping to Israel will resume?

    • Hi Tali. Sadly no, no word. I have heard nothing official, as is often Amazon’s way. But my suspicion is that free shipping as we had it last winter probably won’t ever return. At least not on the regular. There may be select promotions with free shipping.

I suspect that when Corona, please G-d, is over, they will move to using Istanbul as the hub for distributing to Israel and then rates will be lower.

Of course, I promise to update if I hear anything official!
