Changes in How I Post Amazon Deals

I hope all of you had a wonderful Rosh Hashana. I know my family and I did — it was such a perfect little pocket of time away from reality.

Unfortunately, I got a major dose of reality just minutes after yomtov ended, when I logged in to my email. Waiting for me was a message from Amazon stating some serious issues with my site. Unknowingly and certainly unwittingly, I have not been complying with the operating agreement that allows me to share Amazon deals here on Kosher on a Budget.

As you guys know, I personally love the convenience and money-saving benefits of shopping at Amazon. I just love that we can get such great deals without even having to leave our house!

I am committed to continuing to share all of these great deals with you, but that means that I am going to need  to make some changes in how I post Amazon deals going forward.

This is mostly going to be a back-end issue for me, but I did want to be totally transparent with all of you — because I know it will likely affect how you see the information from Kosher on a Budget.

The good news for you is that when you come to my site going forward, you will be seeing the most updated pricing information available at Amazon. As you all know (since I say it all the time!), Amazon pricing and availability can change on a dime. With the changes I will be making on KOAB, you will now be seeing the absolutely most current information.

I hope you all will be patient with me as I figure this out — and tweak whatever is necessary to come more into compliance with Amazon’s operating agreement.

Please feel free to reach out to me via email if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever. I’m here for you!

  1. Thank you so much for your hard work!

  2. Thanks for doing all this hard work! Just FYI, the new amazon widgets are hard to read from the email. The words seem to overlap each other and the pictures….is that something you can fix? Shana Tova!

    • Thanks for the heads up! I realized the same thing when my newsletter arrived. I am working on a way to resolve it. It may involve a “shortened” feed – which means that to read a complete post, you will be redirected back to the KOAB site. I know that’s not ideal, but I promise I’m working on it!
