Drug Store Deals for Week of 10/17/10 ~ CVS, Walgreens & Rite-Aid

CVS Deals 10/17/10

The deals are rather dull at CVS this week, so I wanted to expand and let you know what’s going on at Walgreens and Rite-Aid as well. There are some seriously HOT deals at both those drug stores, including numerous free items.

A big thank you to Crystal, from The Thrifty Mama, for all her hard work in putting together these match-ups and letting me share a few of them on my blog. If you want to see all of the drug store deals for this week, be sure to check out her blog.

Walgreens

Are you new to shopping at Walgreens? You can read the Walgreens Coupon Policy from the Thrifty Mama. RRs are Registered Rewards, which are similar to the Extra Care Bucks at CVS.

Coffee Mate Creamer ~ $2.69, BOGO or 2/$2.69
Use $1.50/1 coupon here (print 2)

Mucinex Nasal Spray $7.99, Earn $8 RR when you buy one

Rite-Aid

We don’t have any Rite-Aids in Kansas, but man, there are more freebies than I can count this week there — so if you have one near you, you might want to check it out! Check out the Thrifty Mama’s Rite Aid post to get all the details.

Remember: I share the drug store deals with you not because there are amazing finds on kosher foods there; but rather because by cutting your expenses on toiletries and household items, you free up money in your budget for more expensive items. Kosher brisket may not go on sale very often, but when you’re paying NOTHING for toothpaste and shampoo, you have more wiggle room to splurge for Shabbat lunch.

Are you planning a drug store run this week? What’s on your shopping list?

Comments

  1. At Walgreens – use the $1/2 Special K coupon (in another post) for the Kelloggs deal – 2/$3 after RR. (Not as good as the HyVee cereal deal, but still a good opportunity to use the coupon.)
