On the first Tuesday of each month (or 2nd Tuesday if the first falls on a holiday), local Lego stores host a free LEGO build workshop for kids ages 6-14. (Although my three year-old daughter has always been allowed to participate as well.)
Each child gets their own mini model set, which they build on-site and get to take home with them. February’s model is this cute log cabin.
Most stores start the event at 5 p.m., but you may want to contact your local store to confirm.
