  1. My favorite Jewish DVD’s for kids are the Shirim K’Tanim holiday series, and my favorite kids’ secular DVD’s are The Magic School Bus, with Ms. Frizzle herself, or AKA, the Frizz.

  2. My sukkah style is International – along the lines of Jewish Mexican American. That describes, a sukkah with chutzpah. I love lots of lights, and have a collection of American flags, fruits, veggies and Mexican motif. The lights are all descriptive of my heritage, Jewish Mexican
American. Okay, there’s Polish in me too, but I have no lights that can tell that story, only the people in the sukkah who share the traits. Our love of Israel is also displayed in our sukkah with Israeli flags and photos of the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.

  3. my two favorite succuh decorations (in keeping with the themes of KOAB) are sponges in the shapes of fruits s and vegetables (they do not get damaged in the rain) and napkin rings decorated with fruits (found at rummage sale).

  4. I have started my own traditions since having my daughter.
we love to either make a picture or find a picture and put
it in a clear (empty) CD holder and hang them in the sukkah
    with ribbon.
We also like “dorm lights” we found on clearance at Kohl’s!
