Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
This past Shabbat, my father in law passed away suddenly in his home. Mark was 68 years old and left behind his wife, Karen, his two sons, Frankie & Kenny, and his two sisters, Glenna & Alana. Mark was a proud, strong man who loved his family fiercely.
My husband tells me that his dad enjoyed reading my blog (isn’t that sweet?) — and I hope that these brief words would have made him happy.
Frankie and I and our children are in New Jersey for the funeral and shiva, so I will not be able to do much blogging this week. My wonderful assistant Meg will be posting some deals for me, but I apologize because things will be a bit slower than normal. I also need to press pause on my 31 Days of Decluttering series; if you have done any projects, please feel free to send them my way. I’d love to use this week to share some of your decluttering accomplishments!
Also, sadly, I need to reschedule my class in Chicago sponsored by AMIT for tonight. If you had already signed up, you should be getting an email from the organizers — but rest assured, I am working with them to get a new date on the calendar as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding during this week, while my heart and mind are with my husband and his family.
