If you still haven’t taken advantage of the $10 credit at Vitacost, it is still available. And tonight, Ebates is offering 8% cashback on all your purchases.
Even cooler, using your $10 credit somehow “counts” as cash as far as Ebates is concerned, so you actually make 8% back on your free $10 purchase.
Confused yet?
Let’s say for example, you decide you want to get a canister of the yummy Zoe Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which sells for $10.97 on Vitacost (which, by the way, is the same price as on Amazon).
Use your $10 credit, which you get for signing up for a new account with Vitacost, to pay just $.97. You will pay $4.99 for shipping, which means your liter of my favorite EVOO will cost only $5.96.
But then, since you’ll be clicking thru Ebates, you will get back 8% on the total before credit – meaning $1.28. So after cash back, your total will be $4.68!
If that wasn’t clear as mud, follow these steps:
1. Sign up for Vitacost. An email will be sent to you with your coupon code (check your spam if you don’t get it right away).
2. Go to Ebates and click on the Vitacost Shop Now Link. If you aren’t signed up for Ebates yet, do that first. When you make your first $25+ online purchase, you will get a bonus $5 added to your account!
3. Once you’re back on the Vitacost site, you need to search for the Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If you can’t find it, here’s a direct link.
4. Add the olive oil to your cart, enter your coupon code and pay just $5.96.
5. Within two weeks (but usually sooner), your cash back from Ebates should be added to your account. Once you hit the $5 minimum payout threshhold from Ebates, you should get a check in the mail (they pay quarterly).
If olive oil is not your thing, here are some of my other favorite ways to take advantage of Vitacost’s awesome $10 credit.
Burt’s Bees Head to Toe Body Kit – $5.20 after credit – $1.21 cashback = $3.99!
Ecos Laundry Detergent, 100-oz – $6.11 after credit – $1.29 cashback = $4.82!
Eden Organics and/or Near East Rice – both for under $1/can/box after credit and cashback
Let me know what great bargains you score tonight!
I haven’t used this yet myself, but it looks like if you work out using RunKeeper (free phone app) or some other devices, once you go 15 miles you can get $15 off a $49 order at Vitacost.
