I find that most of my purchases are for my kids…be it clothes, shoes, accessories or just a little something extra to make their day brighter….having said all that, I would like to use my windfall to spend on myself…maybe a spa day…maybe some new makeup…. 🙂

Depends on the amount, but we are always saving for something with the kids. Right now, it’s a nice set of bunk beds for my oldest two–this would go a long way toward them.

In general, I’d save. This year, though, I’m using birthday money towards a ticket for a women’s performance.
We are boring – we save any extra money we get.
I would probably use it to pay more toward paying ahead on our mortgage or put it in our investment account to save toward a larger home.
