I thought I’d share a few pictures from our Chol HaMoed – especially since all this family fun has come at the expense of me hanging out with you guys!
My husband unfortunately had to work this week, so it was a lot of Mommy & Me (and me, and me) time with my three kiddos. We had a blast!
We slept late and hung out in our PJs a lot. Like when my daughter took her new lawn mower for a spin! (Remember that deal? Yep, it was an afikomen gift at our house!)
Or when they ate matza brie and colored on these cool placemats I got for them.
My sweet six year insisted I show this picture on the blog – so I am!
We did a few “staycation” trips – like checking out Kansas City’s new SeaLife Aquarium. Thanks, Safta!
… and we got a preview of the soon-to-open Legoland. I love my two year trying to imitate the salute! (And yes, she is ALWAYS barefoot!)
Yesterday, we did one of my sons’ favorites – the College Basketball Experience. There was plenty of actual basketball playing, but of course my boys really dug the NBA Jam 2K12 game! “It’s so much better than 2K11, Mommy!”
Then we visited the Kauffman Memorial Garden with Poppy…
…where we discovered a cute little catepillar
… who tickled our hands!
I spent a bit more money this week than I normally would – but fortunately we were able to budget it by saving some of our blow money from the last few months.
I even splurged on these pretty roses for myself. Flowers make me so happy! (Especially ones that are this pretty for just $7.98 – thankyouAldi!)
I hope you all had a wonderful Chol Ha’Moed as well.
Wishing you all a Chag Sameach.
xxoo
Great photos–looks much more exciting (and warm) than our Chol Hamoed. You know how to showcase KC. Good Moed & Happy Pesach!
Wow. KC looks interesting. And those roses are beautiful! Chag sameach!
What fun! Chag sameach!
So much fun!!!
I also love the large, knitted kippah that your son is wearing in the second photograph (the one at the kitchen table). Would you mind telling me where you got it????? My five year old would love it.
