In my mind, I can’t start thinking about Purim until Tu B’Shevat is over.
Well… Guess what?
Time to think about Purim!
My kids, of course, have been contemplating their costumes for this Purim since, oh, last Purim!
You may remember that last year we pulled off a Star Wars Purim theme.
I even made pool noodle light sabers (which my kiddos and their friends still play with to this day) and Star Wars-themed mishloach manot.
Of course, for truly creative ideas, we had that contest here on KOAB two years ago for the most creative mishloach manot ideas. Oh there were some great ones!
Check them all out here:
- Creative Mishloach Manot Ideas – including hot chocolate in a jar and homemade hummus with crudite.
- More Creative Mishloach Manot Ideas – including an in-flight care package and candy sushi (CUTE!)
- Ice cream sundae mishloach manot, which I made two years ago
What are your plans for Purim this year? Have your kids picked out their costumes yet? Have you started dreaming up your shalach manos?
