CVS (Again!) | Money-Maker on Schick Hydro or Skintimate Shave Gel

One more HOT CVS deal for you this week (I know!). And this is a YMMV, because it’s unadvertised.

I didn’t even see the sign at my store, but a reader had emailed me to tell me about it – so I decided to check it out.

Schick Hydro and Skintimate Shave Gel are producing a $4 ECB. And apparently there is no limit (well, the limit is 100, but your store will be bare before you hit 100).

The Skintimate is ringing up at $3.79 – so a $.21 money-maker. The Schick Hydro is priced at $4.19 at my store – or $.19 after ECB.

Even better, there is a $0.55/1 Skintimate coupon in the 1/15 SS insert – so a $.76  money-maker. Some are even reporting finding $2 off peelies on these!

I picked up eight (didn’t even come close to clearing the shelves – don’t worry ;-)) to donate to a toiletries and household items drive at my kids’ school for Joplin.

You may find a sign on these at your store; and you may not. They may ring up – and they may not. I know it’s a bit of a mystery, but you can always return them if you don’t get the ECBs.

As my sweet cashier Megan said this afternoon, “Sometimes management just does these crazy unadvertised deals. They’re like a secret – and then *Bam* there’s your ECB.”
