We got the Echo Show 5 last year during Prime Day (it’s also on sale this year for $44.99 — or $34.99 when you buy it) and I love it. It sits on our kitchen counter and plays a great slide show of family pictures (when it’s not broadcasting the news or podcasts or answering my questions about what 350 degrees Fahrenheit is in Celcius). My only complaint is that I wish it was bigger – wish is why I’m considering grabbing this deal as well! The Show 5 is more of a bedroom/office size. I think the 8 is perfect for the kitchen / den / living room.
