Plum District Kansas City has all sorts of great local deals for us Kansas Citians (personally, I am hoping for a deal to Legoland – which will be open during chol ha’moed!).

I love when I can find good deals on Kosher Restaurants. So often I overlook that section of the deal a day pages because it’s not applicable for us, but when I see them offered I buy them, and tell my friends.

I ordered a $100.0 purse on zulilly for $20.00…when it arrived,the zipper was broken. I called them and they were sold out of the purse so they told me to keep the purse and they credited my account the $20.00….fixed the zipper myself so purse=free! 🙂

I got a REALLY cute Skip Hop diaper bag for FREE because of a couple of referral credits. I would have bought it anyway because it was such a great deal but it was a kick! I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s awesome! I have been a member of Plum District for a while, I got a great deal on kids labels there too!
The best was definitely a very discounted membership to the zoo. We definitely got our money’s worth out of that one.

there are some great deals sometimes. One I got around the holidays for my daughter was through plum district (I think). It was 2 personalized princess books. She got one for chanukah, and the other for her birthday. I think they were listed for $29. But I had a $20 credit AND a $5 credit so it only ended up being $2 each. score!

When there was a kosher Subway here in Baltimore, I got a $10 giftcard for only $6- we got two $5 meals, so I got away with a night eating out for only $6!!

I think my best deal was a number of melissa and doug toys that were on sale and I used a voucher that cost $15 for $30 worth of merchandise. Between the discount and the sale, it was a pretty good deal.

I got a subscription to Bluum for free through a deal-a-day site (can’t remember which one, though. I’m subscribed to a bunch). I got it as a gift for my sister-in-law. That’s a company that sends a box of baby and mom related samples every month. I got a 3 month subscription for free because I had quite a few credits from friends and family who signed up after I posted a link.
I also buy Groupons for dental visits and save a ton. Since the family doesn’t usually have any dental problems, buying yearly visits is cheaper than buying dental insurance and it’s always cheaper than even just the visit. The local dentist who gives a 50% discount still charges $100 for a an office visit. I can get our dentist visits for $20-$50 each whenever a local dentist is featured on Groupon.

My favorite deal I ever got was for photos printed on canvas. I get so many compliments on the 2 we got from deal-a-day sites. Also, I am already a Plum District user – I used their vouchers to make my son’s birthday party at a local party place in Baltimore and it saved me a lot of money!
