You know those Entertainment Books that people sell as fundraisers? It costs like $20 to buy one and then you get all these killer coupons, which totally make up for the cost of the book?
The problem with those books are that 100% of the restaurants are not kosher. So I’ve never bought one of them… but I’ve always sort of had Entertainment Book envy.
Then I learned about the Kosher Advantage and got over myself.
Kosher Advantage is a card that gives you a discount of up to 15% at over 200 kosher establishments. The list of participating businesses is growing every week and includes restaurants, grocery stores, butchers, and even 14 online outlets like Kosher.com and JudaicaKingdom.com.
Membership costs $3.99 per month, but Kosher Advantage is offering KOAB readers a special FREE three-month trial membership when you use the promotional code KOAB. There is no obligation at the end of the three months — if you’re not feeling the savings, just send back your card to cancel your membership.
Now, I will tell you that those of you in the Tri-State area are probably going to be loving this card the most. I’m guessing many of your favorite restaurants and stores are on the list already. There are also participating establishments in Phily, D.C., Canada and California.
The rest of us may not feel quite as much benefit to our bottom line. However, when you figure that the membership is FREE for the first three months, I’m thinking there really is no down-side to signing up.
Plus, once we’re signed up, we can pitch our favorite eateries and shops — and earn up to $75 from Kosher Advantage if they join the program. Win-win!
When you sign up for Kosher Advantage be sure to use the promotional code KOAB in the “How did you hear about Kosher Advantage” box to get your FREE three-month membership. (Non-KOABers only get two free months. So don’t say I never gotcha anything free, mmkay?)
If you’d rather not give out your deets online, you can call them at 646.479.7118 and give them the KOAB secret password.
