Have you noticed KOAB’s newest sponsor – Hal Jaffe Name Art?
Hal creates very cool, one of kind, framed name art posters. He created one for us with our last name and we LOVE it! We even rearranged some furniture in our house to create the perfect spot for displaying it!
Hal is running a big sale for KOAB readers through the end of April – get the name of your choice (3-11 letters) in either black or white matte with free framing AND free shipping for only $65. Just use the promo code nocoupon.
Scroll through Hal’s huge selection of color, black and white and sepia pictures for each letter and pick the ones you like the best – or leave it up to Hal. He’s got a great eye!
I think this would make a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift – especially if you are tired of giving the same old china settings and crystal vases.
Plus, one lucky Kosher on a Budget reader will win their own name art print! Choose black or white matte, the images you like best, and the name of your choice – from 3 – 11 letters long. Keep it for yourself, or give it as a special gift!
#1. To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment on this post with your favorite wedding gift – given or received. (For eg. my set of Denby dishes, which we use every Shabbat!) This is a mandatory entry, so please do this first.
#2. For more chances to win, you can subscribe to KOAB’s email newsletter – it comes out once a day and I promise I’ll never spam you. Once you have signed up, come back and leave ANOTHER comment that you have done so. If you’re already signed up – thank you! Just leave a comment to that effect. This entry is optional – so if you’d rather not subscribe, that’s cool.
#3. And for one more chance to win, you can “like” this post. (The like button is right up there, at the top of this post). Then come back and leave another comment letting me know you have done so. Again, this entry is optional – although I do hope you’ll “like” this post and help me spread the word about Hal Jaffe’s Name Art and this cool giveaway!
This giveaway will be open until the end of the day on Sunday, March 18th. A winner will be selected randomly and notified by Monday morning. Good luck!
Disclaimer: Hal Jaffe Name Art provided me with a complimentary name art poster to facilitate my review. He is also a paid advertiser on Kosher on a Budget. However, I was not compensated in any way to run this giveaway, nor to share my positive opinions of his product.
My favorite wedding present, thus far, has been our Keurig! It makes great hot drinks – but the wedding is still a few months away, so who knows what other great things people will give us. Perhaps this kind of art??:)
Ours is a really lush monogrammed towel set.
Um. It’s been a long time since our wedding. We’re still using the challa board. Plain, but it *catches the crumbs*.
Ours is our breadmaker. We use it to make bread for challah nearly every week!

I don’t know that it’s my favorite but we had a long distance romance & I flew on Southwest Airlines 30 roundtrips the year before we got married, so we invited Herb Keleher, president of Southwest, to our wedding. He didn’t attend but sent us a nice gift, a framed 3D heart and a nice letter. It isn’t a letter from the Rebbe, but it’s a nice gift.
The best wedding present I received (for my kitchen) was a set of stainless OXO bowls, I use them ALL the time and they still look as good as the day I got them over 3 years ago.
Favorite wedding gift was my wedding band, it was my grandmothers and my mom sold if to my husband for a buck. I wish my grandmother was at my wedding, but it feels so special to look at my hand and think of her daily. Not a gift in the traditional sense, but so special for me. Actual gift was probably my kitchenaid, just died after 15 years, but it took quite a workout and produced a lot of baked goods.

Hi there–I just liked this, and I do already subscribe.
My favorite wedding gift was from my non-Jewish maid of honor, my oldest friend. She has given me so many lovely Judaica gifts over the years. For our wedding, she went to a paint-your-own-pottery place and bought a large serving tray and a seder plate; looked into the appropriate words and pictures for a seder plate; and carefully designed and painted the two in a coordinating pattern, and got the graphics and the Hebrew right! (She is a talented artist.) We treasure this gift…Each year I can’t wait to unpack my Pesach stuff to see them and use them.
My favorite wedding gift that we received and that I have given to others is the broken glass in lucite.
